Great selection of photos Mark. I thought I'd done a thread in the 'Themed' section but on checking I obviously had not.
So, vol 1 from me: Wardair at GTW the rest from LHR, all 1977-8. Apologies for the poor quality.

When it comes to nostalgia then for me quality of image is far less important than content. You've got some real classics in there. Ok I'm biased when it comes to 747s - I just love 'em

. I remember my first spotting trip to Heathrow back in 1985 and will never forget the sound of one taking off before I even saw it - fabulous! Thanks for taking me back in time

I have to agree with Nighthawke (who beat me to Heathrow by 1 year), your shots are most interesting waghorn41. For example, in your posts above I have never seen that Thai livery before, I didn't realise the ground training Comet at Heathrow was painted up in a hybrid BOAC/BA colour scheme (it was all over white by the time I saw it in the 1980s), and it's always a joy to a Seaboard World Containership!
