It must have been to do with 60 years since NWA was founded.

I remeber 'PY' in those colours back then but pictures of it at Gatwick next to two Northwest B742s is great.

I well remember the DC3 at Speke Airport as it was then when operated by the local airline Starways (along with G-AMPO and G-AMSN if the grey matter still functions).
