Got a bit of a surprise while scanning the next one- its N739PA (Lockerbie)- delivered to PanAm 15 Feb 1970, so just over 1 year old when this was taken.

Superb post , that Ambassador mixed in looks like its something from a much earlier era :D Doesn't seem to fit in with the jets

Really interesting - I love the JAT Caravelle and the Ambassador.
It looks like a DC3 of Danish Air Transport in the background of the Finnair Caravelle - nice to see.

Another fantastic and sharp selection, thanks for posting these.The shiny JAT Carvelle is gorgeous, as is the Martinair DC-8 ... and most of the rest of them :)
