In front of a car/caravan dealership just N of Dillsboro, NC, USA. Id please. I have a pic, but can't work out how to post it!

Yes got it. As for type, Closest I can come to is a Rotorway Scorpion but it's not one of them.

My guess would be a homebuilt and unregistered.

Rather thought so Mike. The site owner didn't seem to have much interest in it, but I guess, for him, it's an eye-catcher!
