Oh my, look at all those lovely DC-8s, and beautifully scanned again too :thumb: Particularly nice to see ship #1, and the early variants with translating cowls. Lovely stuff.

Golly gosh !!! What great memories some of these bring back to me, especially the Delta, KLM, Air Canada(TCA) and JAL - I have a few Panam DC-8s in my logs, do you have any shots in your wonderful collection ? :)

:D

Great pic's remember seeing the Air Canada, Pan Am, Viasa etc at LAP also the KLM ones at Schiphol- but did not see a lot of the SAS ones.

Plus the UTA 8's at Le Bourget.

Great days and even greater memories.

Well done Bob for unearthing this thread.

Got to love the '8. IMHO the sleekest lines of a jet airliner yet to grace the skies.

Used to love seeing the likes of CP Air, Air Canada and a few others smoking into Manchester in the late 70's

Absolutely superb. I can't believe some of these shots are early 60s judging by the quality of them. Amazing !

Superb, the UTA and the Viasa are tops of a great list. Only one gripe, what's an A330 shot doing in a collection of real aircraft - never seen the LTU scheme before, nice. :D

Thanks for sharing.
