Great photo's, and thanks for the memories, i was also there in 1988 and a few times after that, staying at the Emmantina Hotel.
For those who stayed at the Emmantina, they have spent what looks like a lot of money on a referb, the roof looks different if you look on the website.
Anyway thanks for the pics.

It was indeed a great airport. I flew over it on the night the new airport opened operating as crew on EZY.
