Here's hoping...

My favourite aircraft. Beautiful, elegant and it still brings a tear to my eye..
A sad day indeed when they finally stop flying, I'd sell my granny on ebay for a ride in one
Here is one of my earliest photos , taken at EGCC back in nineteen seventy something, BOAC colours suited her so much, IMO (I still love watching the old trade test colour film, Flight Of Fancy-takes me right back...)
Can't wait to see more here

Hi Gary,
totally agree with you on this one. The most beautiful, jet airliner, ever built.
I must dig out my old slides one day!
Here's a shot from last year at Duxford, using my trusty 10-22mm.
Regards
Reggie

Also in total agreement
I am fortunate in that I did get a flight when serving at Brize in the early 70's...lucky me
It will be a sad day when they are finally retired
Regards

I believe this is the only image I have of a VC-10 in civilian marks G-ASGD in BOAC livery at Heathrow August 1971.
