Very nice!
I remember that I was at Prestwick, about 15 years ago, at a very VERY boring meeting with the board of BAE Civilian Aircraft in the boardroom of the art-deco building that looks out onto the runway.
We'd been at it for over 3 hours and I was beginning to lose the will to live....(the discussion was business intelligence and performance management - worst job I ever had)
Suddenly, this behemoth flashed past the windows on its landing run. I jumped up from the table and ran across to the window to watch it...
Didn't impress the board one jot, they immediately realised that I wasn't a principal consultant but a plain old aircraft spotter....
....but it made my day!!

Great shot Andy. I stood opposite this beast as it spooled up ready to display. The ground shook and my whole body vibrated. Then it flew so gracefully desite the huge size - magnificent!

I was lucky enough to have both Bristow and FB Heliservices as clients. They never minded pausing business discussions to talk flying, and once at Redhill the client identified a landing B412 from the engine and rotor sounds. Guess who had volunteered to work on those clients’ accounts!Uuoret wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 8:58 pmVery nice!
