Another wonderful shot, I first saw 'WBL when it was Autair in 1968 and then flew on it twice in one day on 05/03/81 from Edinburgh to Manchester and back when it was with BA !!

Another great memory, you could see these coming down the approach when they were still 15 miles out - not the aircraft itself, but the plume of black smoke!

In my opinion the most beautiful airliner ever built goes to the Sud-Aviation Caravelle. This image again captured on the 28th August 1971 shows Caravelle VI-R EC-ARL operated by Iberia landing 28R at Heathrow.
