Not a truck spotter myself, as in I don't jot numbers, but I have an interest in trucks (especially the sound of a Scania V8
) and going to Truckfest gives a chance to see some special schemes as well.Truckfest South West was on at Shepton Mallet this year, and turning up early on a Sunday it was quiet at least, to be fair it wasn't rammed like usual at least, and there wasn't as many trucks as there normally would be, and companies like Paul Charlton and E.W.Gardner that bring a stash only bought one or two along instead. What with the pandemic, it was no surprise, and despite having doing the whole show in just under 2 hours, it was still worth it.
Being a Sunday, it's *usually* the day where the owners have done polishing, so less ladders, cloths, cleaning stuff etc in the way for a shot.
