barn owls in norfolk, 2-3-13

Post by andygolfer » Sun Mar 03, 2013 11:49 am

I visited some friends in Norfolk yesterday for a 60th birthday event and they (or he) had told me previously about the barn owls on the marsh nearby so I stuck my camera in the car in case I had time to go to look for them - I did! Here are a few of my pics, some were a bit distant and had to be heavily cropped but then one flew about 10 - 15 metres from me to give me some closer ones - hope you like them ,

Last 3 look very nice. The first couple look very noisey. Wish i could get that close leave alone with the camera.

First 2 and especially the first were heavily cropped. the last 3 were a single pass about 10 - 15m away

Wow... Very nice indeed! Even if some are cropped... A beautiful creature.
