I was up early yesterday to make a dawn start (the clocks changing made it a bit easier) to see what I could find at a nearby nature reserve as the forecast was excellent. There was quite a bit around early on but not enough light for decent photography, I got a few ducks on a lake and some wrens chasing around - one posed nicely for me plus a jay on the meadow. Then when I got back to my car park I put a bit of bird food on a couple of post to see what would show and got quite a variety and in good light as well - here's a selection...

Beautiful vivid shots Andy. You can see the dinosaur ancestry really showing through in the Dunnock!

Beautiful colourful photos of our feathered friends. The nutchatch is a favourite of mine and I wish they would come into our garden more often.
