SPOTM July 2022 voting poll - your favourite helicopter photo with a bonus point for a sikorski design

Post by andygolfer » Wed Aug 10, 2022 7:26 pm

This is the voting poll for the June 2022 Special Photo Of The Month competition, the subject was your favourite helicopter photo with a bonus point for a Sikorski design

Thank you to everybody who submitted entries - we only had 11 entries but all of a very high standard.
The poll is open to all registered members but you must be signed in to vote.
Please submit your Three votes using the poll provided.
- You cannot change your vote once submitted and please vote for all three choices before hitting the submit button as you cannot go back to place your 2nd and third choices later

- Each of your votes holds equal value
- The poll will run for 7 days from the time of creation
- Please don't vote for yourself! There is no way to enforce this, just an honesty policy
- Entrants are listed in alphabetical order for ease (with a short description to help identify the entries)

I will add on the bonus points for Sikorski designed helicopters when voting has ended

Results will be announced on the photo thread in the usual manner and the winning photos will be posted in the Hall of Fame

the entries can be viewed here viewtopic.php?f=110&t=43948

the voting has now finished in this competition and it's time to add the bonus points for Sikorski based entries.
the following received a bonus point for entering a photo of a helicopter based on a sikorski design:

acw367 N618CK Sikorsky S-61NM Croman Corporation Boeing Field 7 November 2017
BringbackEGDG Sikorsky S-76C G-URSA tucking away the gear, Fairford, 16th July 2017
LondonEye S.64 Skycrane C-GJRY Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, 2010
Lynothe hammer Sikorsky S-70i Blackhawk - SP-YVA at Farnborough 2016
MikeS Sikorsky S-92A G-IACF Departs runway 16 at Aberdeen
paultojo S-76 G-CGIW at Aberdeen in May 2013
Rainton20 Sikorsky sunset. CH-54B N715HT at Chico, CA on 26th September 2009

Therefore the adjusted scores are
acw367 2 votes
andygolfer 5 votes (no bonus)
BringbackEGDG 2 votes
EGNH1909 3 votes (no bonus)
LondonEye 1 vote
Lynothe hammer 5 votes
MikeS Sikorsky 7 votes
niallsaviation 8 votes (no bonus)
paultojo 6 votes
Rainton20 10 votes

and this month's winner is Rainton 20with his Sikorski sunset
niallsaviation is 2nd with his A109 at Corfu
and Mike S is 3rd with his S.76 at Aberdeen

thank you to everybody who entered, hope the extra point rule made it a bit more interesting, maybe I'll try that idea again sometime.

I've posted the winners in the Hall of Fame here: viewtopic.php?f=112&t=44289
