SPOTM, November 2025, Blue and White aircraft
This is the November 2025 SPOTM, the subject is an aircraft with blue and white paint schemes (a VERY small amount of other colours will be accepted). It must be civilian registered but may be a warbird without the registration visible.
Photography Competition Rules :-
1. Only one entry per user, unless posting on behalf of another person who is unable to do so themselves (children for example). If this is the case, please state so on your entry..
2. The photo may have been taken on any date, it does not have to be taken in the month of the competition
3. The image can be photo-shopped to some extent, levels changes, cropping, sharpening etc. are all acceptable. The photograph must retain it’s initial subject though, don’t make it something it’s not. HDR images are not acceptable. If you are unsure, please PM a moderator.
4. The competition will remain open until 23.59 (UK time) on the 7th of December
5. Voting is open to all members in the 7 days following the closure of the competition, this will be done by a poll which will be set up when the competition closes. Moderators/Administrators/Sponsors will not be exempt from the competition but no-one can vote for their own entry.
6. Voting details will be announced once the competition has closed. The number of votes allowed will depend on the number of entries
7. The decision of the moderating team is final.
8. All images must be posted in line with the usual CA posting rules (size etc.), please read them if you're not sure how to post.
9. The rules may be subject to change, and these will be posted on this thread.
10. Please embed the images and not post a link to an image as it makes it harder to judge, if you're not sure how to do it, shout up and someone will sort it out..
11. It IS permissible to change your entry before the closing date.
12. Do not comment on other member's photos.
13. A brief description of where and when the image was taken would be preferred.
If you have a question, please PM me

Decisions, decisions. So many in the archive. So I'll go with this - for now anyway. Tradewinds CL44 at Kai Tak in 1976, and a bonus blue and white is the Pan Am 747 in the background.

My effort for this month's competition.
Air Asia Airbus A320, 9M-AFV, approaching Penang International Airport, 4 November 2012. At that time, the aircraft wore the Queens Park Rangers special scheme.

Re: SPOTM, November 2025, Blue and White aircraft
one from me from a night time walk in October 2020, this Volga DneprIL.76 was parked along the fence line on the north side of Stansted and having got some daytime shots I thought I would try something a bit more challenging so I went for a trek along the Ash walk to the fence and set myself up waiting for sunset and darkness. After an hour or so of photos this was my favourite, it needed a bit more thought and experimentation that a professionally set-up nightshoot and the result was more satisfyling!
