Also a white B737 fuselage and Orion nose section.

Group 2

The easyJet B737's are G-EZKC & EZKD, the Germania B737's being scrapped are D-AGEG & D-AGEK. D-AGEE is stored probably awaiting scrapping. The A319 was I-EEZQ

When I was talking to ASI on thursday I mentioned the MK 742F. I said how come they have not be scraped as quickly as the others, there reply was they are worthless and not worth scapping as there are no buyers or anything lined up for them. Also I thing they are both very close to there maximum number of operational cycles.

I did get an Exsternal tour of EI-DTU (Transaero 737-500) in there hangar, I even sat in the engine . They are making as start on removing the engines already they made a start onthe engines on Thursday less then 24hrs after it arrived. Onece the engines have been remove they will not be touching the main airframe intil April as they are starting to get realy busy.

Not sure if we're talking about the same nose section, but I was told that the one that you may think is from Orion is a Boeing 727 that had been used for filming at another airfield before being moved to Kemble. I actually thought it was the Jordanian A300 that was in last year, but I was mistaken.

I'll try and find out the reg of it.

Hope you enjoyed your trip around the Transaero 737, Sean.

I would also keep your eyes open chaps as ASI told me they have a A340-300 or 500 Series Aircraft due in soon follow by a Boeing 777 Possibly. If I can get the dates I will let you know.

Many thanks for correcting my error on the Meridiana reg.

I suspect that the the reg of the Germania near the ASI hangar is D-AGEE.

Any help about the "Orion" nose would be welcomed.

Thanks for the info about the MK B747-200Fs, (makes sense, I also understand from pprune that the MK aircraft were not the best maintained).

I will try to get over by the North gate pre april to get some pictures of the Transaero B737-500.

Regrettably the Jordanian A300, (actually A310) is long gone, beautiful plane.

Many thanks for the clue.

N9748C it is.

Having seen the film, the penny should have dropped.

ASI are at Lasham as well.

Hi, there is a NOTAM below wich could suggest a heavy arriving tomorrow at Kemble. However this might just be a Royal Flight as the NOTAM's can be very similar.

Following identification of N9748C, I have checked my records again.

It has been at Kemble from at least 8th July 2011.
