hi,
thanks for both posts, 2 questions please if anyone else is checking them due to a visit, the C.172? by the tower with a blue f/l cover on, and a Beechcraft white with brown colouring, by the small hangars with a cover hiding the reg apart from G-ER/B**...

Great list David, it was very useful, i used it as a checklist when i visited yestwerday.

However i could not see the following on the Rapid Racking area

OY-JTR
VP-CFR
OE-IKW

I walked from the layby to gate on the southern side, can advise me as to where these 3 can be viewed from.

Alan if you go right down the end, (where G-MKGA is) then look across, (under the tail of G-MKGA).

You will be able to see them.

There are two JetTime, the grey A320 and OE-IKW is slightly further round, but just visible.

I also have the advantage of being there pre the Air Atlanta and Corsair B747, meaning I know where to look and what I am looking for.

It all helps.

You should be able to drive into the airfield to go to the Tower/AV8 from this week

You should be able to drive into the airfield to go to the Tower/AV8 from this week

Just be aware that the airfield central area is officially closed from 1700 Saturdays until 0900 Tuesdays.
Don’t go on Sunday or Monday as the North Gate will be locked.

The AV8 building is not open at all, but some food and drink is served from their trailer when the airport is open Tuesday to Saturdays only.
