British Airways B747-400 G-CIVL Positions to Kemble.
Apr 14, 2020
British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVL, which has been in storage at London Heathrow since 26th March, positioned London Heathrow – Kemble late this morning as BA9151. Our present understanding is that whilst not officially withdrawn, the aircraft would be one of the last to be re-instated should traffic recovery warrant it and so it is unlikely to return to service.

Landed 11:45l. Took a slightly more southerly approach today as compared to yesterday so was visible at 5,000ft over Swindon on approach.

British Airways 747-436 G-CIVN is now inbound from London Heathrow as BA9154. It landed at around 13:08.

According to the Cotswold airport Facebook page, this is the last one for this week and the others will be arriving next week.

Always the few giving the rest a bad name. As much as I would have liked to see the arrivals this week, I stayed at home as everyone else should (and, I'm sure, as most others on this forum did).

I won't be giving any advance notice now of any arrival info I have until the pandemic has ended.

It's utterly unbelievable that common sense is so thin on the ground. I do wonder if such people stop to think about society outside their own small-minded worlds. Well, the Police are now aware and will no doubt drop in when the next arrival is due. AS such I would still post the arrival times and let them pay the fines.
