LY-NVY landing at Kemble today. Sadly I had to leave before VT-INV arrived so didn't manage to catch that one. Hope you enjoy.

Hearing the same.

At the time when the current three BA airframes were flown in, there had been the intention to ferry five to Kemble (incl. G-CIVH plus one other, from LHR), although the local disruption caused by the first arrivals (with spectators wilfully disregarding the then Covid-restrictions), the ferry plans for the remaining two were shelved.

Perhaps a grain of truth, now that there is less restrictive movement and the eight remaining B744s at LHR will need to be moved, for disposal / save BA a heap of parking charges.

Yep this was confirmed by the airport owner a while back (3 more BA 747s to come). One of the FISOs also hinted on FB that one of the 747s might be departing too but didn't say which one. We shall see.

Hi EMA,

I can confirm 9H-AEJ, which had no nose section when I was there 2 days ago.

A340 2-AGDD and EC-MFB did both to have nose sections in place.

The nose section is G-CELW complete with cargo door.

I believe that G-CELX is around the back, (I will check).

I thought that G-GDFE also had it's nose section, (I will check).

The B727 is 2-MMTT.

The Jet2 B737 near ASI is G-CELY and the Jet Time is OH-JTZ.

B737 EI-FFM is in the Chevron Area with the Corsair and BA B747.

A320 LY-SPC is behind the G-CIVN and EC-MFA.

HTH
