F-GTUI landed at Kemble 14:03l after what has become a traditional low pass/go around first. My video - filmed from the other side of the airfield this time:

Thanks for watching!

I have recently been informed that ex Saudi (Air Atlanta Icelandic) 747 TF-AAD is due into Kemble at around 12:30 BST from Liege as ABD027P. *Subject to change of course*
(currently in a simple Saudi livery, without any titles.)

With thanks again for the heads up, TF-AAD landed at Kemble 13:05l.

No flyover or anything from this one, just straight in approach as it started to tip down with rain!

Video to follow later, although had to cut it short so that the kit didn’t get wet :(

For info if anyone planning on visiting for any future arrivals, the Police were out today along with traffic cones and signs about clamping! Please park considerately and in line with the rules of the road :)

Did they cone the layby off? Or is it on the main road to stop people dumping the car on the edge of the road like what happened on Monday?

The layby was fine and open as usual, but very full. It was the airport entrance with the green gate and the road opposite that were coned off with police presence.

Today's arrival - sadly no flypast, just straight in! Which was just as well since the rain started as soon as it arrived, so just a fairly short video this time.

Great video nitro, although it is shorter than some of your past videos, it still showcases your skill!

I have heard news stories discussing another 3 747s due into kemble over the coming weeks to bring a total of 14. Just as a heads up.

Thanks thevulcan, it’s interesting to see that some of these aircraft aren’t necessarily going to be scrapped immediately and may be in long term storage in the possibility of finding a new home.

ex Avion A320 LY-NVY is Due in today at 12:30 BST using its reg as it’s callsign.
Looks like it’s been operated / leased to lots of Airlines since it was delivered in 2003, making it 17 years old.

Cheers - I understand it was originally due yesterday but didn’t show. A quick look on ADSB shows it hasn’t tracked for a long time so may not be plotting on the inbound flight I guess.

Yeah I also saw that it hasn’t flown for a while but not sure where it currently is.
