Apparently the device was tested on an A320.

Not sure which aircraft it is.

Any ideas?

Just seen it on the national news. Quite an impressive bomb resistance bag.

As for the aircraft used it looks as if two maybe have been used. One with the bag and one with out. They only showed the outside of the one used with out the bag and the only marking on it was a black stripe down the side. Couldn't see a reg number.

It looked like one of the former Alitalia A321s with the green stripe painted black

In that case, I note that EI-IXU seems to have been cleared recently.

I noticed last time that a Alitalia was sitting alongside the RJ85's, I wondered why it was dragged down there as it seemed a bit odd, may have been for that

On 11.07.15, Maltatripper reported that airframe as 'EI-IXA'. Think it still bears its Italian regn I-BIXA

You are right, it is still I-BIXA.

I will update my report.
