Bae146/RJ at Southend

Post by Maltatripper » Sat Sep 08, 2012 9:19 pm

I saw the following at Southend today;

Bae146 3238 G-CEBN Turkish Airlines near Saxon Hall

RJ85 2300 I-CLBA Italiatour Airlines
RJ85 2279 G-CGYV Brussels Airlines
RJ85 2289 G-CHDO Brussels Airlines
RJ85 2292 G-CHDT Brussels Airlines
Bae146 2022 G-FLTF Flightline
Bae146? Flightline
Bae146 2047 G-OZRH Cityjet
Bae146 Green/Brown

All near Air Livery area.

Most of these were all white, but the Brussels Airlines had a plain blue tail. Also I-CLBA was in Italiatour colours.

There were 2 that I could not identify.

These were the second Flightline aircraft, (in Flightline colour scheme) and an aircraft that was white with green and brown bands across the tail.

As far as condition is concerned, I would say that the RJ85 look OK, but the Bae146 look shabby.

I will do a separate report about other types seen.

Having done some more research, I reached the following conclusion.

The Bae146 in Flightline colours is likely to be G-FLTC, and the aircraft with green/brown bands is likely to be G-OFMC.
