Re: In the Pink in Lanzarote
We are staying at Las Gaviotas in Matagorda. Set back a little from the front but can photograph most stuff with ease with the 70-300mm zoom. It's barely 30 yards to the front from our room which is where the ATR photos were taken from. In this case from a small area just across the promenade from t...

Re: In the Pink in Lanzarote
In the past I've sometimes booked a hotel close to the flightpath and acted surprised when the wife notices the aircraft noise!   Brilliant! Thanks for these pictures Steve, cracking shots and a great catch! Would love to see that! What's Azul operating in Lanzarote? Didn't realize ...

In the Pink in Lanzarote
Seen at Lanzarote Airport this lunchtime was this ATR-72-600 of the Brazilian operator Azul. Operated inbound as flight AD9841 from Espargos in Cape Verde. It carries a special 'Pink Ribbon' colour scheme to promote Breast Cancer awareness. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1899/44760604061_cd5ce4c4a4_...

Road running helicopter - 13 July
Heading south down the A1 in Nottinghamshire on Friday afternoon. Overtook a helicopter on a trailer (possibly a Hughes) carrying the false registration 'K-HALL'. Anyone know its 'real' identity..?

Nearly forgot about this competition. Last photo I took of a Monarch aircraft from Lanzarote in September:

G-RLWG Ryan PT-22 at Breighton Airfield on Sunday 12 November 2017. The aircraft was one of two based machines taking part in the flypast and poppy drop at the airfield's Remembrance Day commemoration. Re: Lanzarote - September 2017
On a few occasions aircraft departed to the south using runway 21. One morning I was on the path next to the point on the fence where the perimeter 'ends' and watched a couple of departures. Here is the Condor aircraft, note the height as it passes: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4475/37601280221_17...

Lanzarote - September 2017
Just returned from a very enjoyable two weeks on the island. Managed a few snaps walking up and down the front and on a couple of trips up to the end of runway 03. A few images to be going on with: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4431/37391505796_c1f05d2e47_b.jpg EC-IZO by Stephen Procter , on Flickr...

Re: SPOTM July 2017, Aircraft named after 4 legged animals
Just to kick things off, a common type in a more exotic location. F-GGKA DHC-6 Twin Otter of Air Caraibes. Seen at Union Island Airport, St.Vincent and The Grenadines on 23 May 1993. Having flown down from St.Lucia to spend a day sailing in the Grenadine islands this aircraft was one of a number see...

Re: A taste of the Caribbean
I thought that too Mike but I don't think they were around in 1993. Funnily enough I saw another photo of the same aircraft (or an another aircraft of that type in the same paint scheme) taken a bit later, again on Union Island and it carried the reg J6-AAA (St Lucia reg). Wondered if it had been re...

Would anyone care to identify the aircraft type in the photo of F-OGOL? The N reg a/c, white with green trim.

Nice set Ian. I see you were down by the crash gate towards the end of 32 for most of these.

Leeds/Bradford 22.7.17
Having dropped my wife off at a school reunion lunch I had a few spare hours so pottered up to the cemetery (runway 14) end at Leeds, which was in use when I arrived. Just a few samples from the shots I took during the afternoon. Light was all over the place but you play the hand you're dealt... :) ...

Another Eastern by way of my contribution. Seen at Leeds/Bradford in the very early morning sunshine prior to its departure to Southampton.
