Re: Ex-Niki OE-IXC latest Helvetic Airways Emb190

The ERJ-170/190 series aren't the most attractive airliners IMO, but that one looks good in that livery. Lovely photos too - sharp with great light.

Excellent selection. Not often a Ryanair 737-800 shot can be called interesting, but yours with the cloud of snow behind it certainly is.

Great panning on the An-12 shot! Lovely and crisp shot of the a/c, with fully blurred prop discs, well done.

Nice shots of the FedEx A300 - not a type seen often now sadly. The MD-11 shots look great with the condensation in the inlets too.

The Brussels Airlines Dash 8 shots are my favourite. The Dutch Gov't F70 is a lovely aircraft - had the pleasure of shooting it a couple of years ago at one of the Northolt nightshoots.

Great shot, great aircraft.

Unfortunately my understanding is that it will replace the SP after a short period of the two being in service together :(

Re: Busy Bizz @ Luton 15-1-15.

A Filipino Falcon, very nice! As for N767MW, if you can afford to run a 767 I guess you can afford to fly it into LHR to pick you up :) How many steps do you need on your ladder these days at crash gate 5? I'm 6ft and used to use a ladder with 3 steps, but I know I'll need more now the fence has bee...

Nice to see a "rampant lawnmower" again! That's what the LHR spotters used to call them.

The 32(R) Sqn 146 shots are fantastic in that light.

Re: Bristol Airport in days gone by...

Thanks for posting those, especially the Caravelle which is a great shot. I was a regular at BHX back then, and we had many of the same aircraft visiting, including the occasional Caravelle. Happy memories!

15 Hawker Hunters

A flypast of 15 Hawker Hunters at Kemble I recorded back in 2001:

Definitely military aircraft, but all of them are civilian owned so I believe acceptable on this forum. As well as the visual spectacle, just listen to the sound they make!

Re: PH-KXJ Air Panama colour scheme !

Nicely caught. I do like that livery - 1970s style! Therefore much better than the mainly-white schemes that are so common today, or ones with silly curves that don't match the streamlined shape of the aircraft.

Fabulous selection. Great Il-62 touchdown shot, some nice Il-86s, and an Aeroflot-liveried Tu-16 as well!

That's info worth knowing, because it looks like a great spot. Interesting to see the condensation in the engine intakes of the TK 777.
