Re: Freighters at Miami Intl. November 2014

Some great shots there, thanks for posting. Have always loved freighters from the days of Bristol Freighters and Carvairs at Liverpool's Speke Airport as it was then. Shows how old I am doesn't it!

Re: SAR Move

Although the new hangar looks complete the building of the facility as a whole still continues for an operational start in Sept 2015 I believe. We are getting more visits by Bristow/Coastguard S92's now.

Re: DUE: Brindabella Airlines Jetstreams

No change in the situation since my last report in June. The two airframes are still parked outside Hangar 8 with the one with engines (NE) occasionally being run-up to make sure everything still works.

Re: Metro photos for PorkScratching !!

I too love these aircraft, the Swearingen designs always look like they are doing 500 mph even on the ground. Love the French registered short one and am pleased to report that there are two of them alive and well at Dole Jura Airport to the east of Dijon in France. They (F-GLLO and F-GZJM) are oper...

Re: Serial request 1/7/14 (Yellow rig helicopter)

No problem. The large hangar over on the east side is of course the new SAR hangar for Bristows when they take over SAR duties from the Sea Kings at Leconfield in September (?). The yellow EC155's are currently using Eastern Airways hangar 7 and are renting an office from the flying club I fly with....

Re: Serial request 1/7/14 (Yellow rig helicopter)

Hi there. NHV Helicopters have just moved into Humberside with their yellow EC155 helicopters which have a grey registration. Although there are two based a/c (OO-NSH and OO-NHQ) our local reporter of all things Humberside has posted on the DSAF forum that OO-NHQ was the one in use on 1/7/14. Hope t...

Current residents outside the Eastern Airways hangar are VH-XNE and VH-XNF. 'NF is currently a glider as the engines have been removed this week. No sign of the the others so far.

Re: Western power

Hope you dont mind me adding to this thread. Took a flight last Tuesday (17/12) down to Nottingham City (aka Tollerton to us oldies) and caught this one on the ground . Sad thing was that as I taxied out a second one landed alongside it and when lining up a third was in the circuit to land! Three in...
