Re: Ex-CityFlyer RJ100 G-BZAZ
CAA g-info has been updated recently showing an application for Export CofA being submitted late August, for 'processing' circa 17.09.2013.
Haven't seen the airframe recently, but it looks like preparations are underway for departure, presumably to its new home in Canada.

Re: EGBP Visit 11.07.2013
Steve Thanks for saving me having to write all that out. I was there about 1100 and photographed everything of interest to me (with my wife's compact camera as I was on a bike). I wanted to go and see the A340 that I spent 17 hours on flying to the Falklands in Feb - very sad seeing it in the scrap...

Re: EGBP Visit 26 May 2013
Got to be honest, I haven't heard of that airframe being here - no sign of it in the scrapping area and I can't remember a fuselage section preserved or stored on the field with that regn. The old-MK 727 VP-CMN fuselage is still in one of the H-Site hangars being converted (into offices?), but the h...

Re: Are they extending the Runway?
Hi I've not heard of or seen any actual work, or plan to extend - the present runway is more than long and wide enough to accommodate the largest aircraft - B744s - coming in for part-out and there are certainly no published plans for passenger ops from there. I'd be very surprised - in the present ...

Re: EGBP Visit 26 May 2013
No problem, Silverfox. As for the Dominies, reports are sketchy as to whether two of the original six have actually departed. From as far back as November 2012, two were reported as 'hangared' in preparation for export flights to the USA. Certainly N19CQ was photo'd in a hangar in November '12 (cour...

Hi A few photos on Flickr show her without any engine cores - and looking very tired - during mid-April. Could you see if she has been re-engined? I get worried when airframes 'lose' their engines at Kemble - usually means one thing......... A thought. I wonder if re-registering the whole airframe w...
