Re: Barton today
Hi Gary Nice shots there although they do look to have a bit of a blue colour cast on them? Could have been a post-processing thing or maybe a filter you had on your lens?! I'll just add my shot of the 182 (in I suspect it's factory paint job) departing... http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8009/73374839...

Winter Returns @ Barton 02-06-2012
Hi All After the sunshine last week you could be forgiven that thinking we were out of the winter, but today strongly affirmed we weren't! Although this didn't stop some of the strong brand that is the British GA pilot from venturing out... Some pictures demonstrating the rain are over in the helico...

Interesting catch there Flying Ants!
I suspect the non-standard placement of the reg will be something do to with the fact it recently had an exemption from displaying any external marks
Cheers,

Hi Rich
Good shot there, I'm still yet to be convinced about the styling of any of these 'very light jets' I must admit!

G-PWNS @ Woodford 10-05-2012
Afternoon all, For those of us that thought Woodford had seen it's last aircraft movement today came as quite a shock with the movement of G-PWNS! The aircraft itself could do with an injection of a bit of colour to contrast the lovely Manchester May weather! http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5117/71716...

Re: Barton's newest resident - G-ZVKO Edge 360
Ahh! That'll be nice to have back in the air!
As I understand it both the Bulldog & Pup were properly put into storage, with things like the fuel tanks etc being removed to help preserve the airframes. I guess that'll help the restoration efforts!
Cheers

Hi Ian
Sterling helicopters are in Liquidation http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-14418516. As such the EAAA has signed a new contract for the supply of their aircraft with Bond Air Services & all of Sterling's owned aircraft are currently stored at Norwich.
