I have a 600d as well Andy, and the lag in terms of writing to the card, and the number of frames etc does have an effect when shooting in RAW, however not enough for me to not use it. That said, for the last 12 months I have been shooting only in RAW, and then working on them in Lightroom or Photos...

Had an aviation "Fix" day yesterday, with the morning and early afternoon spent up at Mildenhall, and then across at Stansted for the late afternoon / early evening. All photo's taken with a newly acquired Canon 100-400mm L Mk I lens, very happy with the results - just got to get used to the weight ...

Those huts must be one of the most photographed places on Mersea, nice to have on the long summer days!

Doesn't matter that it's only 40 mins from home, will feel a million miles when your down there!
