Nice set Ian. I see you were down by the crash gate towards the end of 32 for most of these.

Leeds/Bradford 22.7.17
Having dropped my wife off at a school reunion lunch I had a few spare hours so pottered up to the cemetery (runway 14) end at Leeds, which was in use when I arrived. Just a few samples from the shots I took during the afternoon. Light was all over the place but you play the hand you're dealt... :) ...

Another Eastern by way of my contribution. Seen at Leeds/Bradford in the very early morning sunshine prior to its departure to Southampton. Photographed from the Jet2 flight on the next stand just before we departed to Amsterdam. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4276/34153475604_c0b2977239_b.jpg G-MAJ...

OO-THB I believe for the TNT. Was pulled out of the hangar during the afternoon but moved no further than where it was in the photo. The Correndon was nice. The slogan translates as 'in the clouds with the friendly lottery....' The first shot I was amazed it came out so well as it was taken through ...

The Garuda was actually taken from inside the terminal whilst walking from our arrival gate to passport control.

Never submitted one of mine for this competition before but here is my offering of KLM Boeing 747-406 PH-BFN under tow at Amsterdam Schiphol on 22 May 2017.

Hi James,
Yes the Boeing 767 is a corporate aircraft operated by Mid East Jets. Really nice scheme. I really like the 747 under tow also. Looks like it had just had a good wash down!
Enjoy your time there in August.
Cheers

Re: Amsterdam Schiphol 22 May 2017 (part 2)
Thank you for your kind words chaps. Was a bit tricky photo wise, shooting into the sun quite often and a lot of heat haze around. It was very hot and sunny and I did 'catch the sun' (as was pointed out to me on my return). We made base camp in the shade under Fokker PH-OFE up on the Panorama Terrac...

Amsterdam Schiphol 22 May 2017
Hopped across for the day on the early morning Jet2 from Leeds along with over 20 spotters/photographers from Air Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Spotters e-group. Had a very enjoyable day out in scorching weather. Set up base camp under Fokker PH-OFE on the Panorama Terrace and snapped away merrily unt...

Re: Lanzarote
Looking to get down there again later this year. If you want a spot to sit and watch aircraft on approach whilst having one of the best Toasties on the island (not to mention very cold San Miguel) I can highly recommend Aussie's Beach Bar at Matagorda....

A6-EEB over South Leeds 13 March 2017
Whilst in my front garden in Rothwell (south Leeds/Wakefield border) on Sunday afternoon. I caught sight of an A380 on an unusual course heading towards me at a low height. Ran inside to get my camera and over the next 20 minutes or so took a number of shots as it made repeated orbits to the south a...

Lanzarote 2016
Just returned from another enjoyable two weeks on the island. Managed to do a little photography whilst out on my walks along the Matagorda promenade up to the end of the airport runway and back. Will post a few shots as I sort them but here is a little taster: https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5475/298...

Lanzarote 1990's
Anyone on here do any Spotting down ACE way in the 1990's? 1993-96 more specifically.
If anyone does have any logs I would be interested to hear to help replace some missing ones.
Cheers

Just found an old listing of a brief visit made there on the above date. Two regs with no types against them
N105AR (could be a mis-pole)
N855BC
Info on the above appreciated
Thanks
