Re: A taste of the Caribbean

Possibly a DC-9 Mike - I think American were probably using them down to the Caribbean then. My other thought was a BAC 1-11, I know LIAT did operate some at one time but think they were long gone by 1990.

A taste of the Caribbean

Back in the late 80's and early 90's we were lucky enough to have a few holidays out in the Caribbean. Not intended as aviation photography as such, here are a few 'holiday snaps' that might be of interest: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8188/8084197197_5f9f169911_b.jpg VC Bird Airport, Antigua by St...

Re: Anyone remember the Barnstormers?

Certainly do - spot landings, shredding toilet rolls, flour bombing, limbo.......... Did a great day at Doncaster in 1972 or 1973.

Old Warden 1973

Any 'golden oldies' out there can assist with logs for two flying days/events at Old Warden in 1973 (come on, its only 40 years ago!). One was in mid/late May and the other at the end of July (29th?). Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Steve
