Re: SPOTM February 2019 - Jumbo Jubilee - 50 years of the mighty Boeing 747

Lots to choose from, but for this I had to pick something from Amsterdam Schiphol Taxiway Q. My favorite spot at the airport and my all time favorite place to watch a 747 roll by. Just having an un-obstructive view as this beast slowly taxi's by you with the wingtip not at all far from you is just, ...

Gatwick EGKK 23/02/2019

Well been some time since I've posted anything! I haven't actually done much aviation photography since Berlin, and the ones I have done I haven't touched yet, a combination of time and wandering what to do with my Flickr accounts, as I have one for aviation and another for trains/buses/boats. I've ...

Looks like you can get some excellent shot's from there, is that the new viewing platform at the end of the runway I've heard about? Might have to go there at somepoint and try it out!

Re: Heathrow 19-02-2019, part 3 the arrivals 11.00 onwards

What an amazing set Andy, some VERY nice special schemes there! :o Hard to pick a favorite, the Saudi 777 has to be one, the 380 shot's, and the lovely El Al 787m but I do love the Jordanian 787 shot, which comes out well with that dark cloud background  Also confirms the Aer Lingus 320 is sti...

Very nice set Andy! Those 2 A380 bank shot's are excellent  Love the others too, some very nice specials, that Eurowings one is very nice, I have yet to see the LOT and Aeroflot one myself though, everyone else seems to see it  The Oman and Gulf Air 787 shot's are also my favorites :)

Re: Gatwick spotting Runway 08 help

Thank you again PorkScratching Cracking day out at the 08 end, got the Purple Bus there and back. Apparently someone got thrown off the bus once for skipping in and not having a car there and walked back to the terminal, I had no problem on the day as there were others waiting for a bus so tried to ...

Re: Gatwick spotting Runway 08 help

Thank you very much for your assistance! Out of interest just in case the 26 end is in use, do you use the perimeter road, or even have you been there in recent times? Again just need clarification as one place I'm reading that you need ID or you'll be moved on as it's airside not landside (surely y...

Re: EDI 15/11/2018

Were these taken through glass in the departure lounge? A nice set of shots, I wonder for how long will United and Delta carry on using B757s across the Pond? Martin I would have guessed so yes, as I've done the same there too shooting through the glass at the departures lounge, it's actually prett...

Wow brilliant shots! I love Taxiway Q but how on earth did you manage to catch two passenger 777's on Taxiway Q!? :o The handful of times I've been there the only biggest ones I've seen are cargo's, only biggest passenger stuff I've seen is a 320! That Yantze must have been an amazing sight t...
