Nice light on the A319.

I always think the type is most photogenic from the rear-quarter :thumb:

Re: Sun & clouds @ Inverness

Thanks for viewing and commenting, Mike, I don't often get an opportunity to visit Inverness, but you are correct about it now being a difficult place to get decent photos. I remember visits to the airport before the current terminal was built, when access could be gained to the front of the old tim...

Not taken civils for ages, but this caught my eye at on a quick detour to Inverness on 25.10.17. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4473/37930251501_05a2ce1464_b.jpg Dassault Falcon 2000EX, LX-EVM, Global Jet Luxembourg @ Inverness, 25 October 2017 by Phillip Hapka , on Flickr original at http://www.civ...

Sun & clouds @ Inverness

Movements during a quick, belated lunch, stop at Inverness. Re: Stansted 02-09-2017

Hi Andrew The Cargolux Italia B747 is a stunner ! :thumb: I agree, the South China B777 looks better in your second attempt, but there is little wrong with the first. I shoot in JPEG only, with little or no editing, I only press the shutter button when I think I have what I want. Quite a difficult s...

1979 - Moth Rally - Strathallan

Found a few more photographs of the Moth Rally, held at Strathallan, Perthshire, on 30 June and 1 July 1979. Sorry for the poor quality, as these were taken with a small format Kodak 110 camera, but the scans from 4.5" x 3.5" prints may be of interest to some members. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4...

20 minutes @ Inverness

Passing Inverness, for the first time in 5 years, so had a quick look in, but only had a basic bridge camera. Lots of Biz jets parked up on the opposite side of the airfield. Forgive the quality - weather very overcast. https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8569/30048466780_be2ba63e8a_b.jpg Saab 2000, G-LGN...

Re: Oban Airport - 2.6.2016

Thanks Mike and Paul, your comments are much appreciated. Oban is an interesting little airport, clinging to a strip of land, between hills and the sea. A beautiful location, especially in good weather. Since its redevelopment, it has become a favorite, with private aviation traffic, as a spring-boa...

Oban Airport - 2.6.2016

Hebridean Air Services fly Oban's only scheduled service to the islands of Coll, Tiree, Colonsay and Islay, off the west coast of Scotland. The rugged BN Islander is the only link, from the islands, to the mainland, when the ferries are storm-bound. https://c6.staticflickr.com/8/7646/27368284821_fc1...
