Re: US Aerobatic Team 1986
Great to see that selection and in terms of competition aerobatics it's interesting to see that 33 years later Pitts and Extras still dominate the scene (albeit with 270-330HP engines these days). Bumped in to Kermit Weeks at his Oshkosh Hangar back in '97, nice chap and showed us around his airfram...

Bristol-Lulsgate - Wed 2 Oct
With a brief break in the wet weather of the past week or so I went up to Lulsgate to photograph the usual trade plus being hopeful of a Thomas Cook repatriation flight. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48841289378_b7b81397d5_o.jpg Ryanair Boeing 737-8AS EI-ENN by Neil D. Emergency Medical Services 'Air Ambulance'
With CA forum members from across the British Isles and Europe it's likely that our 'local patch' is covered by one of the many Air Ambulance organisations. It would be grerat to see the variety and geographic coverage the CA forum has. I'll start things off with my local area, Dorset & Somerset whe...

Pixsy & Image Theft
As aviation and particularly photography is a hobby, as opposed to a source of income, I've not been too fussed with placing watermarks on my images to deter their inappropriate use. That said, all my images have embedded copyright information attached. Earlier this year Flickr announced a partnersh...

Newquay Cornwall Airport
Last weekend I attended the Threshold.Aero photoshoot at Newquay Airport and we were spoiled with amazing weather, it could have so easily been sea mist rolling in as oposed to azure blue skies. In between photographing Cold War jets and transports I did manage to fire off a few shots of departing a...

I've voted for Negus but that's a great set of pictures all round and you've done well to see them all in a day. I must get myself up to Heathrow in the autumn light to photograph a few.
Great pics.

Certainly a good variety of types and colour schemes.
The Shaw 180 is a new type to me.
I used to enjoy camping at the PFA Rally back in the day but times change.

Re: Shuttleworth Vintage Airshow
Very nice. It looks like you can get really close to the action. It seemed to me as though the display line is a close or better than you will have seen at other Uk display venues back in the 80's and 90's, plus it's a curved display line. It really is a pleasure to see aircraft properly displayed ...

Re: Cyprus Holiday 25th August to 4th September 2019
That's an interesting log Bob with quite a few Chinese airlines and the inevitable Russians. Larnaca airport certainly seems to have developed from when I was last there in the '80's and early '90s. In those days it was a bolt hole and safe haven for many Middle East airlines that couldn't use Beiru...

Thanks to the info from Camb10, we can update the thread with the withdrawal of two further A319s. G-EOUH which was one of the Olympic Dove aircraft, albeit repainted in to Chatham livery at some point. Relocated to St Athan on 5th September. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48695097477_c90aaba98...

I attended my first airshow at Old Warden having been delighted with my visit under a month earlier for the Moth gathering. It was an fabulous day, so relaxed and spoilt with such great flying. The weather did turn changable at show start time which made photogrpahy trickie at times, but just a case...

Any post containing a photo of a Twin Commander will get my vote of appreciation, and a BAA one at that. Let's renationalise the airports!!
