Re: Overflights - OTT you or your house.
An unusual one for me...... Up high (12-15,000 ft) It was heading north (Ish) over Cheshire , away from Hawarden and certainly not heading in a Toulouse direction. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7650/16747700606_52a7548d59_o.jpg Airbus Beluga by Beefsteak44 , on Flickr https://farm8.staticflickr.co...

Sat nav updates
Anybody know a decent 'safe' free site for updating Tom Tom sat navs please ? (European maps) My last two cars have had it built in so my old Tom Tom has just sat there gathering dust and getting outdated, as we're off to Tenerife and mainland Spain this year I need to upgrade it, there have been lo...

Re: Cardiff flights
Thanks alot people
We're still not sure if we're coming down yet. The wife wants to visit that St Fagans museum, so I said ok as they do a lot to cater for the disabled, it's all dependant on whether she can get the time off for the Easter hols.

Cardiff flights
Simple query please people, how many flights (roughly) a day do you get through Cardiff (Not during rugby time) We may be stopping at the Holiday Inn there shortly and it's whether I'll need to take the big lens with me or not.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Manchester 11/02/16 - Just switched to 23L at 4pm
Nice.
Been listening to the odd one running in on 05 this morning, beautiful sunshine, clear blue skies, so I decided to set up the tripod and wait for the A-380 for the first time this year, but they've gone back on 23......... the swines !!

Re: Beluga Wales !
I did ask a mate of mine (Who is a delivery pilot for Airbus, based in Toulouse) if he knew of any rough flight times of the Beluga, so we could take my lad over again, he said he didn't think there were any, but he would get back to me..................... That was in November and I'm still waiting...

Re: Beluga Wales !
My lad still wants to be a Beluga pilot, 6 years on from when he first said it. (either that, or work in a bank like his Grandad but that's only so he can 'retire' at 55!

Re: Beluga Wales !
For good photo opportunities of the Beluga try the little industrial park down Manor off of the B 5125 to the left of the airfield if viewed on Google Earth. Not been able to go for a long while but there were loads of easy places to park with no yellow lines to worry about.   :cl...

Re: Nuisance "accident" phone calls.
Not had a call from Gunga din since that last post, I think they may have got the message (For a week or so!) I now get a long silence followed by a recorded "Goodbye", usually in the mid afternoon. These will be from the same sort of person, just that some other person has answered before you! This...

Re: Nuisance "accident" phone calls.
I've been having 4 or 5 a day just lately, always called "Steven from BT" (He's actually Gunga Din in bonga bonga land ) telling me that there is a problem with my broadband and that if he's not allowed to fix it I will lose it 'tomorrow' Sometimes I'll play the game of seeing just how long I can ke...

Cheers. The last time I was out that way (Abu Dhabi in 1990) Canon Cameras and accessories were ridiculously cheap. I'm hoping it's the same now.
