Re: Pixsy & Image Theft
No recent update. Pixsy had contacted the company responsible back in January and had set out their case to them and are waiting for a response. I'm guessing that they are hoping by not responding it will go away. As a free service added to Flickr I'm not sure what priority Pixsy place on cases comp...

Those two B777's are certainly quality catches, well done.
Those Police P-68s seem to be getting out and about across the UK now. We had one venture down this way one evening, seems to have been just a familiarisation flight.

Re: SPOTM June 2020 - Beech biz props
This Beechcraft 2000 Starship was based at Oxford-Kidlington but I believe the pilot was local to the Maidenhead area. It was very energetically displayed at the White Waltham Airshow in 1993 including landing on the grass strip, quite a unique display item for any airshow. All Starships were withdr...

Re: World Vintage Air Rally 1990
I've only been to White Waltham once (around 1980ish, I'd have to check ye olde logge booke), but I do remember that there was loads of vintage aircraft there that were very rarely seen elsewhere and were great gap-fillers for me in CAM. To the left of the entrance was a white nissen hut and in tha...

World Vintage Air Rally 1990
When I lived in the Thames Valley White Waltham was one of my local airfields and I frequently dropped in to see if anything of interest was about. Going back to 1990 and over the course of a couple of visits it became evident that a good number of American registered vintage and classic aircraft we...

Lovely shots and a selection of interesting aircraft types - Navion and Argus being two particular highlights for me.
Whilst being a little way from Somerset, if it does go ahead this year it looks as though it would justify the cost of a tank of diesel.
Thanks for posting

Re: Lockdown Log, Somerset- Months 1 & 2 (updated)
Month 2 of lockdown was spent still working from home and keeping an eye open for passing aircraft. GA started flying again during May and many pilots took the opportunity of the good weather to head to the south coast, via Somerset. A total of 74 in the book for the period, which is quite respectab...

Thanks, Bob, but all blank days since the 16th!!!!!
Like many I'm working from home and have the SBS Box running, but if I'm engrossed in my work the day flies by and I don't pay much attention to what's passing on airways.

Lockdown Log, Somerset- 23-03 to 19-04
The good weather has made it possible to do a bit of dot spotting from the Somerset/Wiltshire borders. All the following spotted from the confines of home since the lockdown began, just under 4 weeks ago. With the good weather forecast to continue, here's hoping for some more dots of interest. Date ...

What a great post.
The Interflug IL62 and JAT B707 must have been real rarities and the BA Tridents, I can smell them now.
The two Bandeirantes bring back memories of past days spotting at Gatwick.
Thanks for posting.
