Nice theme - two more types from me (again old poor quality scans): Airbus A.300 G-BMNA seen here at Gatwick October 1986 https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4535/38013650284_e52af8e1cc_b.jpg G-BMNA by Tig , on Flickr and B.727 G-BAEF at Stansted September 1987 https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4523/3801364...

Thanks Pete - I noticed that this app is taking my CPU to or near to 100%. I'll check when I get home and follow your suggestion if it still causes an issue. Oh for Windows 3.1 again

Re: Airline Colours on GA

Mike - N611CE is not in your photo and was seen at PFA Cranfield a few weeks later (showing as cancelled in 2013). N620GS became G-BPIL but the CofA expired in 2000. Googling N626GS it seems to have ended up on the fire dump at Bridgetown in Barbados.

Re: Airline Colours on GA

When I visited Sibson 27/5/85 there were three: N611CE (ex OO-SED), N620GS (ex OO-SEF and later G-BPIL) and N626GS (ex OO-SEG).

Re: C/N's required

Tim - it would help if you have dates and locations for these sightings as some of these will have been used on more than one airframe. RA-103 could be an amateur-built triplane which was on display at Paris Air Show in 1995 or possibly RA-00103, an L.39. So depending on how well-travelled you are m...

Nice and bright in decent light - not intended to be poetic just the way it turned out!

Re: Let's see your Fokkers

Back to the late 80s/early 90s when Norwich was my regular Saturday afternoon haunt. F27s were often in an out for maintenance/paint so since no-one else has posted any, here is a selection from various scans - apologies for the poor quality as well as the clutter in some shots! Most of these are be...

Lovely schemes on the Gulf Airs and I agree with Andy - that Syrian is rather special if only for rarity value.

Re: Trident 1C G-ARPO 1977

Sadly the Trident was out of service by the time I started spotting properly so I only have a few shots of museum pieces. Not many left preserved - just UK and China I think.

Thanks for yet another trip back in time John - keep posting please!

Re: DA42 arrival Friday 10th November

Not much help but playback on FR24 shows something going in to Exeter at that time showing as "Blocked". The track shows it coming out of Northolt. Sorry I can't help more but may be of some use to continue the trail!

Nothing showing on Planefinder.

Even without the blue skies not a bad set. Can't beat a 747 just at "wheels off" - I can almost hear the engines!

I must say they do look nicer without the radar and combined with the neat lines of the BEA scheme a quite attractive machine.

Keep 'em comin' chaps!

Re: Court line Jetranger G-AXMM

As always with these posts it is the content that far outweighs the image quality. Is that a Chippie on the ground?

Sadly this helicopter was W/O in a double fatality crash in 2005 in its final guise of G-WLLY.

Re: United Farewell to Queen of the Skies

Nice set of Jumbos! Too few around now and much as I like the A380, I still marvel at the sight of a 747 on take off. Thanks for brightening up my day.
