Re: Doesnt seem to be any Russian to get these Done!

The S7 livery is so that the aircraft cannot be lost in the snow.....in winter ops at their home airports in Siberia and other parts of Russia its just not feasible to have white planes, so they have dayglo green ones instead ;)

Re: Boeing 707

One of my favourite experiences with the old 707/720 series that used to absolutely terrify my mother......the inevitable waterfall of condensation from the ceiling as you took off

Mother was not a good flyer anyway and getting wet inside the plane used to tip her over the edge

Beautiful photos :thumb:

Is it just me or has Boeing modelled the 787's nose on the Comet?

The whole plane, apart from the engine placement of course, has very Cometish looks about it

Re: S7 Airlines ERJ Paintjob Today !

S7 have always carried that livery as far as I am aware. Officially/legally S7 is really PJSC Siberia Airlines, is an airline headquartered in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. They became the largest Russian domestic operator in 2008 IIRC and have no less that 5 subsidiaries at this time, the airline was...

Re: SPOTM April 2017, Aircraft with airfield support vehicle

OK...first time at this, apologies if I have got it wrong This is my favourite airport, Brussels Zaventem, on a decidedly horrible day, April 29th 2014. Sleeting & windy & freezing cold, I was waiting for my Brussels Airlines flight back to Manchester and took this in a hurry on my extremely basic d...

Re: Anti-virus for home PCs & laptops.

Although Windies Defender is OK, I have been using Comodo Internet Secuity for years now without any issues...combined anti virus and firewall

Very easy to use, extremely efficient in that it picks up issues that other anti virus missed

Cost is reasonable too...£40 per year and that covers 3 devices
