Stansted Airport; updated 14-4-16

I travelled down to the warm county of Essex to pick up some friends form Stansted airport, so with a planned couple of hours to spare I went to the mound near Belmer Road to see what's to see. It was going to be over the midday hours which of course impacts negatively on photography, if you want to...

Nothing beats the softer light of late afternoon, or early morning, and you made well use of it Andy. :thumb:

I spent a couple of hours over midday recently on Belmer Road shooting into the sun .. .. but sometimes you have to make do with what you have. Once edited I will post some on here.

Re: Trip to Hawaii (Maui).

From andygolfer's 7,300 miles we are down to 200 yards .. ;)

Yes, that correlates with the distance we viewed whales at Hermanus (near Cape Town) when visiting there once. And no need to get any closer either.

Thanks.

The marketing of the Ryanair brand is very visible here, 'Krakow & Malopolska' enticing the Polish community to use the service. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1453/26089976736_f3e6c5c1e9_c.jpg Yes, Ryanair B737-8 (EI-EPD) by Marius Bekker , on Flickr Just landed from Glasgow. https://farm2.staticfl...
