Re: Bristol - Sat 20 April 2019
Lovely photos (I always enjoy looking at shots from that location at Bristol). Runway 09 was in use all day, though one EZY flight landed on 27, and did a 180 turn on the runway to get to its' stand. Anyone have an idea why this might have been?? If the wind was light (or virtually across the runwa...

Re: Bristol - Sat 20 April 2019
A nice set of pics there Roger. The TUI B738 lining up inthe morning light looks great and a very low shutter speed on the Aurigny. You didn't happen to get a picture of the Ryanair Sun B738 from Krakow, at a guess about 9:30ish, as my daughter was on it? Neil Thanks Neil. I don't see a Ryanair fli...

Bristol - Sat 20 April 2019
Spent quite a few hours up the road at Bristol Airport yesterday, where the weather eventually turned to clear skies, although stubborn coastal mist down in the Bristol Channel prevented the South Wales coastline featuring clearly in the photos. Runway 09 was in use all day, though one EZY flight la...

Thanks Neil.
Has to be an early start, or it's not worth going I my book!
Yes, there was a nice selection of aircraft - a great way to start my aviation year (including Friday of course!)

Thanks Mike.
It took a while for the mist to burn off, but it was worth the wait.

Bristol - 23 Feb 2019
My first outing of the year was to RNAS Yeovilton on the Friday, but the day after saw me heading up to Bristol for the day for a selection of airliners, bizjets and a couple of light aircraft. Runway 09 in use during the day, though they changed to 27 just before I headed home - and back to 09 by t...

Nice set James.
Your photos taken Airside remind me of what was on offer from the small viewing area on top of the (then) terminal building. Much missed...……..

I use an 80D now, and although I've only had it for less than two weeks, I'm very happy with the results!

Exeter - 2 June
Nipped along the A303 and A30 to spend the day next to Exeter Airport, where some of the display aircraft for Torbay Air Show were based for the weekend. Flybe made up the majority of the movements, but TUI and Isles of Scilly Skybus provided some variety. 1. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1724/4071...

Re: Airbus A319 NEO at Guernsey 29 May 2018
I'm assuming it was this one, but there was a Neo showing on FR24 earlier this morning, doing circuits etc West of Lundy. I think it came from Cardiff. I only noticed it because I heard the pilot talking to London Mil controllers on 135.15. EDIT: Still talking with London Mil at 1716 local. The pic ...

Brilliant  No, not a Ryan/Easy fest! Actually I love your Ryanair shot with the Easyjet in the background! I noticed on your Flickr that the all white A320 is Balkan Holidays, is that a Balkan A320 or a lease one? Can't quite make out the serial. Talking of white, I wonder if Stobart Air ar...
