Thanks Ikarus, it's always nice to see a Aztec (or an Apache is even better!)

Aztec In Barton

Hi All, A rare occasion at Barton first thing this morning as a twin visited Barton. Due to the work in progress it had to use 27R (shorter than the 'optimal' 27L, but stopped within about 3/4 of it's length so no excuses for anyone else to not come! :thumb: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8321/800244...

Re: Heli's @ Barton 15-09-2012

Steve, many thanks! I'll put that down to Flickr then I think :) Reggie, there's not been all too much of interest recently just a gentle tick-over. I'm hoping that if we get 2 heli's for United Vs Wigan we might get some more for the higher profile games this year! Certainly helps on those dreary d...

Hi Rich, probably the biggest selection of Jetstreams anywhere in Europe there! I like the look of the N reg'd one, although some colour wouldn't hurt!

Hi Donnyman

You seem to have got a nice collection of heli's there! Outside of the main races (Grand National & Gold Cup) it's always difficult to pick which events will attract helicopters! But looks like you got lucky here :thumb:

Autumnal Barton 15-09-2012

Hi All Some snaps of fixed-wing from a very Autumnal Barton, now we're just waiting for the leaves in the trees to turn golden for some cracking back-drops to the snaps! http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8174/7989105370_e372ff4206_b.jpg G-AZNO by QSY on-route , on Flickr http://farm9.staticfli...

Heli's @ Barton 15-09-2012

Hi All It's been a little while since I posted up here, been too busy with many other things! A few hours were spend at the local today with a nice selection of rotary traffic flying around :thumb: G-BLDK departing on a training detail http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8446/7989105146_7e524e9830_b.jpg G...

Re: Vyskov Open Day 08.09.2012 (Part 1, gliders and ultralights)

Nice collection of pictures there, it's good to see that gliding still seems very popular & there's a nice variety of types used.

The variation in Ultralights from the UK is also interesting, with some the same & some not seen in the UK :thumb:

Hi Reggie It was parked over by the western windsock... All visiting heli's that don't need fuel are going over there at the minute due to the on going work in progress on the airfield... I'll just pop this close up of it's tail up :) http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8294/7814864978_8e3a221597_z.jpg G-...
