Ive not been to Stansted for several years but I believe photo locations are getting harder to access now? I was hoping to get down for a couple of days in April/May. Cheers...

It is difficult when panning to judge how much -EV compensation is required, very easy to blow out the whites. Like you i would welcome any tips on getting consistant blue skies (Although living in Manchester they are mainly grey anyway)

Thanks for the comments, sadly these days civil airliners seem to be more and more all white with just a simple tail design, at least the retro's give us something more interesting to photograph! They certainly seem to generate a lot of publicity for airlines so maybe we will continue to see airline...
