Re: Edinburgh again

Probably best not use BBF. It can be useful when recomposing static images or dealing with unwanted objects in the foreground (e.g. photographing birds in reed beds). It is always good to experiment and learn, but I cannot really see how it would have benefited you in the shots above. I do like the ...

Northolt Nightshoot XXVIIa, 13 October 2022

After an absence of 3.5 years, it was fabulous to once again be at a Northolt Nightshoot. As usual, Phil and team did not disappoint, with a wonderful selection of aircraft on display. London Heathrow 13 October 2022

We spent the day at Heathrow prior to the most recent Northolt Nightshoot. There was a lot of cloud for much of the time unfortunately, but still plenty of interest to see. It was noticeable just how many A320neo and A321neo aircraft are now in service. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/5246761710...

Excellent sharp photos Mike, I really enjoyed looking through those. They give a great overview of the variety at Aberdeen too.

very nice Nick, there always seem to be more biz jets when I don't come along to the Planewatch meets! :???: :???: :???: Andy Unfortunately for you, that does seem to be the case! I know that like me, you wanted some shots of Jet2 757s before they are retired, so it is a shame you missed the one ab...

Re: Manchester 09 July 2022

Excellent shots Paul. The newer Canon R bodies are reported to have a much better electronic viewfinder than the initial R and RP (I remember you posting that you found the EVF on the latter a little problematic). I had a play with a friend's R6 recently and the viewfinder was pretty much on a par w...

Re: Condor new livery at Norwich

The new livery is growing on me, much to andygolfer's annoyance! However, I would however prefer them to return to the livery depicted on their 767 retrojet:
