Re: Manchester 5th April 2015 - Easter Sunday
Wow! What a shot of G-FDZY!
Is there still First Choice liveried 767's then? Not seen one yet but then I haven't done Manchester Airport yet (been from Bristol Airport years ago as a teenager in the late 90's, might have seen one then but I can't remember!)
Lovely shot's of 737-300's too, brilliant!

Kemble Airfield 04/04/15 Scraps, visits and Miles Falcon
Hello all, Was a very productive day at Kemble on the 4th. Went up to cop the UTAir 737 and the former Abu Dhabi Avro RJ's. Also had a nice visit from Miles Falcon Major G-AEEG as well :) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7619/17019782626_9a9f3dd4e4_b.jpg Boeing 727 and 747 by underwoods_aviation_photo...

Who flies the scrappies?
One thing that I've always wondered, who actually takes the scrappies in? Lets take the Saudi 747 for example. If a pilot from the airliner took it from Saudi Arabia to Kemble, how does he/she get back, theres not a flight out of Kemble that just happens to be going that way. Does that person get a ...

Re: EI-FAU ATR
Not just me that has that problem then! LOL! Have they ever passed you without knowing it? EI-DEH did this alot, never went to LHR if I was there but as my town is on one of the Aer Lingus flightpaths to Paris and Heathrow it would either pass OTT if it was cloudy or wait when I was busy (often find...

Re: EI-FAU ATR
Yes saw it on Flight Radar, it had the cheek to join the airway over Northampton, if it went over the L9 airway I would have seen it, but that would be too easy lol! Just EI-FCY to go, again another Dublin day might help, I could have had it on Thursday as it went right over Dublin from Manchester, ...

Re: Dublin Airport 05/03/15
Cheers guys :) Bat 21 - Yes, there is a mound, there are lamposts however stand in the right place next to a lampost so you are facing a gap and you'll avoid these very easily, and you are overlooking the fence, when you zoom in like the shots above, you'll avoid the fence. The top of a fence might ...

Dublin Airport 05/03/15
Hello all, For my 28th Birthday, my super present was this day trip to EIDW with Aer Lingus for a day's spotting/number crunching, which was ideal as I still needed EI-DEH, which has been tactically avoiding me! I know this is photos at Dublin, but here's a couple before we left at Bristol: https://...

EI-FAU ATR
Hello all, Tyically, my second to last Aer Lingus prop I need for sight is EI-FAU, and after a day at Dublin last Thursday produced no sight of it, I went on FR24 for it's flight history to see that it last flew on the 2nd March from Dublin to Southend and never did anything since. I looked again to...

Kemble Airfield 24/02/2015
Hello all, Spent the morning at Kemble mainly for the Zest Air A319, and saw some of the home fleet GA's that were out and about, as was some Eclipse bizjet, never seen that before! Enjoy! https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8568/16017790803_caa599e96b_b.jpg F-HLOV by tubemad , on Flickr https://farm9.st...

Aviation beanie hats?
Hello all, I've been looking online, especially on Ebay, and I cannot find any aviation beanie hats! I have one Solo Turk hat I picked up from the Turkish Air Force stand at Kleine Brogel airshow, but I'm looking for a civil version, maybe one that has a BA, EasyJet, KLM or whatever logo, or even Bo...

I've just got a copy myself!
Isn't bad, but not one I would highly rate over the originals of course, Division Bell and p.u.l.s.e is my top best albums from Pink Floyd.

Re: Cheltenham Gold Cup - Anything interesting?
Yes feel free to move, seems likely to be movements elsewhere, Staverton never crossed my mind to be honest! I was wondering whether it was worth going to Lulsgate or not, I've heard about horse planes at Bristol (was this done at Filton then?) but seeing as they don't run anymore then I'll do somet...

Cheltenham Gold Cup - Anything interesting?
Hello all, Cheltenham Gold cup is coming up next month starting on the 10th, is there potential for biz jet's or chartered stuff coming in on the Monday? Not been at the Airport the Gold Cup week, I know there'll be bus/train charters, not sure if anything happens aviation wise. Did anyone observe a...

Re: Dublin photting guide on foot?
Oh nice one Chris, thanks for that! That would be Spot A on this site then? http://www.plane-mad.com/airport-spotting-guides/ireland/dublin-dub-eidw.html Wasn't sure on a map where exactly you would exit the airport, but on inspection I guess you would be on the road marked R132, then walk down to O...

Dublin photting guide on foot?
Hello all, Me and a friend are off to Dublin in March on a Thursday to get some serials but hopefully some pictures too. Thing is, we are arriving from Bristol on some Aer Lingus ATR. The guides I've seen suggest the requirement of a car. Is there any spots within walking distance even to the end of...

Very good set! Cracking shot's
Should give me an idea of what I might see in May, going to Brussels for the first time then, looks like there is some good vantage points.
James.
