Stansted - 9th Aug
Spent a bit of time over at Stansted yesterday. Taken with a Canon 70d, and either a 300 F4 L or 70-200 F4 L. 1. The rather plain looking MD-11 of Western Global - really is in need of some form of colour on that fuselage... https://c4.staticflickr.com/9/8735/28878484635_e625ec299c_b.jpg N513SN by D...

Re: canon 7D mk11 front focus issues
hi,
Did you get to the bottom of the problem, or did you revert to sending it off for calibration?
I've just got rid of my 100-400 L mk1 for the simple reason that I seemed to bin more than I kept - have traded that for a Canon 300mm F4 L.

Re: back button focusing
I've also been using it for a while now, and like you say it becomes second nature!! I do however also keep forgetting that when changing it off AV or TV mode etc, and on to one of the auto, (lazy) modes that the focus reverts back to the main button - whilst I'm there pressing the back button and w...

Re: watermarking photos - do you or don't you?
I've took to putting more of a "signature" on my photos (just text along the edge of the image) a couple of years ago. Was glad I did, as a photo I took of XH558 at the Shoreham Airshow in 2014 was used by the VTTS in one of their newsletters - without any request for use - or even acknowledgement o...

Nice set of shots Andy.
Good to see that Martinair are sending in the 747 - although the MD-11's were a favourite!!

Re: Kemble today
Always makes me wonder when you see them in the line for scrapping, why some of the operators (like BA) require the logos and name to be blacked out... It's not as if it stop you from instantly recognising it as a BA plane...

I'll kick off this off with a shot of the Breitling wingwalkers, displaying their 2 Boeing Stearman's. This was taken at the Biggin Hill Festival of Flight on the 11th June 2016. https://c7.staticflickr.com/8/7387/27519189542_b63144c1d2_b.jpg Breitling Wing Walkers by Dan Elms , on Flickr Can be see...
