Yeovilton July 7 2018

A scorching hot day, another venue that I like. Difficult at times with light for flying shots. Most of these pictures will be pseudo military, by nature of the venue. A highlight for me was this MS760 Paris biz / liason aircraft, a rare beast. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/921/42397506435_e8d71a7c...

Re: London City, panning attempts......

You have done well there.
From the shadows, I guess the shots were afternoon, early evening.
I prefer Northside, but it can be a pain with the sun morning, midday.

Re: North Weald 30 June 2018 with wrecks

Some of those wrecks have been there for years. So, the black & white G-LUND makes for an interesting picture. Well done. Those wrecks could make for a caption competition. " It's not that bad, nothing that a touch of paint would not put right " " I think the pre-flight might take a bit longer than ...

North Weald Air Britain Fly-in 2018

Saturday 30th June. A fine sunny day. Not too windy at start. A venue that I normally like. But this year, sadly, it felt lacking. It just did not seem to attract the aircraft visitors. Full credit to Air Britain, and all the volunteers involved. Great that they organise this. This year was recognis...

Nice picture. I liked seeing those TAT with different colours for each aircraft. Same as the old Court Line.

AeroExpo Booker 16-6-18

A rather overcast day, possibly kept a/c visitors away. Exhibition area had over fifty a/c on display. But visitors were probably about a third compared to last year. By midday it had gone quiet apart from the helicopters doing the competitions. Mid afternoon there was a small display, mainly by aer...

Re: AeroExpo at Booker

Yes, it is similar to the Expo events held in recent years at Sywell. Reg taking similar to Sywell. You can read them landing/taking off. Once parked, similar to Sywell, walking up and down will get about 2/3 of them, becoming easier mid afternoon as they depart. Photos - if landing E to W across th...
