Re: A-380 Question
Cheers Mike
Shame it's not a regular service, it'd be nice to catch it when I can get back in to my fishing . (Had the MRI scan on Saturday by the way. Now that WAS an experience I don't want to repeat soon !)

A-380 Question
Help out this daft lad please, how many A-380 flights are there in and out of Manchester now. I know there are now two a day from Dubai, but last Thursday I was up near Warrington and one (Emirates) flew straight over head, not following the normal departure route for Dubai. I had a quick look on FR...

Re: A-380 into Manchester again (cough, cough)
Had the initial hospital appointment on Wednesday, they confirmed that it is what my doctor told me it was in December!!! She also told me that I've got rather a large displaced disk that could be removed to give me some chance of decent movement again. I'm now waiting for an appointment for an MRI ...

A-380 into Manchester again (cough, cough)
I've been following the evening arrival of the Emirates A-380 all the way from Azerbaijan on FR24, as they have been coming in on the 05 to Manchester this afternoon. The light was fantastic Eastbound where they were all swinging in from , guess which unlucky so and so stood there waiting in anticip...

Re: Overflights - OTT you or your house.
An unusual one for me...... Up high (12-15,000 ft) It was heading north (Ish) over Cheshire , away from Hawarden and certainly not heading in a Toulouse direction. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7650/16747700606_52a7548d59_o.jpg Airbus Beluga by Beefsteak44 , on Flickr https://farm8.staticflickr.com...

05 at Manchester
For a few days this week they've all been running in on 05 at Manchester, great for me as they come quite near my house, and with having the Flight Radar App (Paid for version) I've been able to track them in and catch the Emirates A-380 on three separate occasions, including Friday when it was runn...

North West Air Ambulance
I had a visit from the north west air ambulance to my local park this morning after somebody had an accident chopping trees. Fortunately it left empty handed. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3903/14940466007_e8e9e6e731_h.jpg North West Air Ambulance. by Beefsteak44 , on Flickr https://farm4.staticfli...

Re: Diesel prices in the UK
I am less than 20 miles from the Ellesmere port refinery yet our super market diesel (£1.35.9) is about the most expensive, so that rules out that theory doesn't it?

They beat Scotland last time we played you !
(And they must have won a few to actually make to Brazil in the first place. I forgot, Scotland won loads more but kept it hushed up cause they didn't really want to go!!)
