Thanks, I'm glad you like them.
They were some small consolation for all the aircraft that took off from the opposite end of the runway that precluded the usual batch of taxiing shots that I've come away from the show with in previous years.

A Couple of Airliners at Ostrava (LKMT)
While attending the annual NATO Days exhibition at Ostrava's Leos Janacek Airport this past weekend, I snapped these shots of a couple of regularly scheduled Travel Service Airlines machines lining up to head out between show performances: This 737 left late in the morning: http://i37.photobucket.co...

Some EC-135 action at Ostrava (LKMT)
This past weekend was the annual NATO Days military and security services show at Ostrava's Leos Janacek Airport: The civil side of things included these three EC-135s: OK-DSA and OK-DSE from the local air ambulance outfit: http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e59/cancze/NATO%20Day%202013/IMG_1541_zps6...

Another Avanti lover here! Those are great pics.
That's just the sexiest twin turboprop going these days as far as I'm concerned.

Kunovice Air Museum, Czech Republic, 14.08.2013
Hello all: I recently made a visit to the Kunovice Air Museum in the south east of the Czech Republic. It's not the easiest of museums to get to, but it does contain some unique machines that you won't see elsewhere. The main focus of this museum is aircraft and activities of the Let aircraft compan...

Frydlant nad Ostravici, Czech Republic, 17.08.2013
Hello all: This weekend, we ventured up to the north east corner of the Czech Republic and I quite unexpectedly got a flight out of the trip. The airport at Frydlant nad Ostravici (LKFR) is a small grass strip tucked away in the Beskydy mountains. I snapped a couple of pictures of this L-13 Blanik b...

A Morning at Kunovice, Czech Republic (14.08.2013)
Hello all: I had a free day today and decided to go out to the airport at Kunovice (UHE/LKKU) in the south east part of the Czech Republic. Kunovice airport is the home of the Czech aircraft manufacturer, Let who are best known for their L-410 Turbolet aircraft. The airport is also home to an air mu...

Caslav 25.5.2013
Last weekend, I was at Caslav airbase for its biannual open day. Owing to the fly in aspect of the event, several interesting GA types and gliders can be seen: Zlin Z-37 Chmelak http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e59/cancze/Caslav%20open%20day%202013/IMG_0371_zpsada831d4.jpg Antonov An-2 http://i37.p...

Caslav 25.5.2013 and Pardubice 1.6.2013
Last weekend and this weekend I attended two shows here in the Czech Republic. Last weekend was the biannual open day at the Czech airforce base at Caslav and yesterday was the annual show at the airport in Pardubice. Both are located fairly centrally in the country. Here's some biz types seen at bo...

Olomouc, Czech Republic, 04.05.2013
Yesterday, I visited the small but interesting air museum at the airport in Olomouc in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. The weather was gorgeous and there was quite a bit of glider action going on. I managed to snap this image of a Zlin Z-526 taking an L-23 Super Blanik into the air before my...

Some nice catches there.
The Cessna in the first two shots looks well used. If planes could talk, I'm sure it would have some stories to tell.

BAe-146 at Brno (BRQ) 11.04.2013
Here's a pic I took of OO-TAF, one of TNT's fleet of BAe-146 aircraft. Every weekday, TNT flies a 146 into Brno early in the morning and departs late in the evening. I took this picture from across the field with my new camera at it's maximum 20x optical zoom. Not too shabby if I do say so: http://i...

Brno Airport (BRQ) 13.04.2013
Following on from my post a couple of days ago where I took my new camera out to my local airport to play around a bit; I did more playing around out there today. Today was about action shots and playing with a wider range of functions, so a lot of trial and error was involved. Today's results were ...
