Many thanks for that.
I checked their Airshow Data pages but they did not have 2016. Brain was not in gear to check specific airfield.
Scramble is a great site for information.
Cheers
Pete.

Farnborough OK-TUT Zlin 143
At the show on 12 July 2016, parked over amongst the biz-jets, was what looked like OK-TU?
Single engine, I thought it could be a Zlin, so would likely be OK-TUT.
Can anybody confirm this please.
Thanks
Pete.

Re: Manchester August 1970
What lovely memories. I like the Comet, still semi BEA colours, not the gold of Channel Airways. Would be nice to see one in their colours though. I seem to remember seeing a lot of Channel Airways Viscounts at Southend Airport, when they went bust. Wished I could have photographed them, but never h...

Very nice Paul.
Great to see C-46's - I have never seen one. I particularly like the CL-44, we don't see many pictures of them.
Thank for posting.

Some nice pictures. You do get some interesting visitors. The last time I was at Cardiff, they had not long shut the upper balcony viewing area. Quite a few years ago ! Went for one of those world leaders summit meetings. Will be nice if you can post some info for all, on the viewing opportunities n...

Great to see old props, especially as rare as C-97's. Look forward to seeing a few more of your trip (but not the parrots).
I have only seen and photographed a few military KC-97L at airshows. Quite something to see them start engines at Greenham Common, belching smoke and flame.
thanks
Pete.

5 engine VC10
Taken in the 70's. An engine underwing being ferried somewhere. Sometimes, you might see a B747 with similar attached 5th engine. Pictures anyone ? Taken from Car Park 2, used to get some nice shots there. Pete https://c6.staticflickr.com/6/5497/31090487365_cc6bdc6bff_b.jpg VC10 BAW G-ASGM Heathrow

Re: Ultra low AN-124 13/11/2016
Great picture.
We regularly drive that road visiting relations. Good job they have traffic lights stopping cars for landings.
Seen plenty of An124 on the ground, but never been lucky enough to see one land there. The C-17's, and A330 are impressive, but that An124 -- wow !

CS-TFZ A330 Hi-Fly
A330 CS-TFZ of Hi-Fly, in basic Flynas colours, has just gone into LHR on ELY315.
EL-AL seem to be using several Hi-Fly aircraft at present. I recently noted A340 CS-TQY ELY315 on 26th October.
Pete.

Re: IL62 Robin Hood airport 2/11/2016
Well done. Nice to see such pictures.
Must have modified engines. I thought only the Russian State ones had exemption to fly here. Apart from them, the last IL62's that I recall coming to UK were Uzbekistan AW at Heathrow/Gatwick and Cubana at Gatwick.
Cheers,
Pete.

This museum is centrally located in Prague, just north of the river. Easily found on Google maps. Plenty of info at http://www.ntm.cz/en The transport hall is fascinating with it's balconies, no health & safety worries there ! A definite communist feel to the style.
