some cracking shot's there but who choose the scheme on G-RWLA?

The picture doesn't do the scheme justice, I'm pretty sure the paint is pearlescent (or looks that way when I've seen it)

Re: what types do people spot?

A question for all you civil spotters out there, where do you spot at in LHR, GATWICK LONDON City and Stansted. I may be jumping the gun here a bit, but i'm guessing that Luton still had the Spectators area? The spectators area at Luton went a few years ago, it's now Ocean Sky's FBO At London City,...

what types do people spot?

As with any hobby, the individual make's up their own rules of the hobby so what types do people spot? I take anything with a reg' on it although I do normally just chase bizjets/props and military transports with the rest seen 'as and when'. However, I don't do "dot spotting", I prefer to see them ...

Re: Places to eat near Civil Airport's

There's a great restaurant at Compton Abbas airfield, great food and good views across the airfield/scenery

At East Mid's, there's a fish & chip shop in Castle Donnington or there's The Nag's Head at the start of the lane down to the crash gate if you fancy a pub meal

Re: Oxford area

If you're visiting the area at the weekend, there's RAF Weston on the Green. There was a very nice looking Do28 (HA-VOC) being used by the Skydiving centre last time I went (although with a reg' like that, not sure I'd like to jump out of it :) ) along with a few Gliders Enstone is certianly worth a...

Re: Oxford area

Enstone is usually friendly, I've visited a couple of times and asked in the clubhouse on the Southside and always found them to be friendly and co-operative. The guy's on the Northside (by the Tower) are usually friendly too but don't forget to ask permission again to look around here.
