Re: A question regarding zoom lenses.

Hi All, If you want to stay with Canon, the 7D is really a beauty. Quick and smooth. You can buy this for about 800 Euro. The new 7D Mark II is even better, but more expensive. ( +/- 1600 Euro ) Opticals : "in the sky" aviation goes best with the 100-400L. My bag is filled with the 24-105 // 70-200 ...

Re: Photographing overflyers

Hello, Low ISO (100 ) and aparture priority. The smallest possible aparture of the lens, spotmeting for the light and a little bit over-exposure ( +1/3 -- +2/3 ). Take care of motion blur. When using a large zoom lens, the smallest movement is visible. Image stabilizing is a must or use a monopod. T...

Re: RAW or JPEG?

Following this, a RAW picture always needs a "developingprocess", a JPG file is processed ( more or less ) in ...

This was not that bad, but I had to take the first underground to Hatton Cross to catch the early birds arriving. Impossible to go back to the hotel for breakfast, because of loosing too much tim...
