Little Gransden 28-8-11

Some of my pics from Little Gransden yesterday, was a great show despite the weather, lots of cars and a steady stream of visitors arrived throughout the morning - I will do a second post with those later, there were some of the show participants: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4264/35550075712_48fc...

Doncaster 30-7-11

I spent Saturday at Doncaster ( I still think of it as Finningley) in the very enjoyable company of the Vulcan ground crew with a ground tour, cockpit visit and watching the preparation for (and return from) the display at Sunderland. Can't post any pictures of the Vulcan (XH558) here unfortunately ...

Duxford 8-7-11, some flying legends arrivals

A few from Duxford on Friday that comply with the posting rules (I took plenty of others of the warbirds but although some had VERY small civilian registrations I thought they weren’t appropriate here). I Was hoping to see plenty of arrivals and a few practice displays but the weather delayed a lot ...

Andrewsfield 26-6-11

I spent an hour or so at Andrewsfield about 4 miles from my home this afternoon as it was a nice sunny afternoon and I felt I couldn’t waste the opportunity to take a few photos these are a few of the ones I took , as it was very bright I used a polarizing filter to try to prevent the colours washin...

I'll go with this one, (doubt I'll get anywhere else this month now):

Out of the storm - Ryanair B.737 EI-EKD finding a bit of sunlight after a stormy approach to Stansted, on Saturday 18th June:

Re: a very English summer afternoon at stansted. 18-6-11

I've deleted the pic of the Saudi C.130 as I saw a pic of it on Fighter Control and it turned out to be Saudi Air Force. as I said before it was past me before I could get a pic of it and had no time to i.d. it - apologies for the rule transgression

a very English summer afternoon at stansted. 18-6-11

I had to go to a very wet Stansted yesterday to collect friends returning on an Easyjet flight and (very conveniently) got there early despite the heavy showers and tried a few photographs, most were no good because of the rain but here’s a few of the (some barely) passable ones: This Saudi C.130 dr...

Lakenheath & Mildenhall 14-6-11 N86,Cl600

I stopped at Lakenheath and Mildenhall on Tuesday lunchtime and this FAA L 600(N86) was doing some calibration work, firstly I got these 2 shots at Lakenheath - it caught me out by coming from the opposite direction to the F.15s http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j285/sickbag_andy/aircraft%20june%201...

stansted 28-5-11, champions league final visitors

Here's my offering - a selection of the visiting airliners for the Champions League final at Stansted last Saturday, all were taken from the mound on the north side. I left around 11.00 ( to go to the Southend air show) so I missed the Tu 204 & Tu154 – damn! http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j285/si...
